As the lead UX designer at AppCarousel I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects from concept to completion. I led wireframing, brainstorming and client kick-off sessions, and worked with multiple stakeholders and team members to deliver exceptional product experiences. I worked closely with developers on design and UX for products and owned marketing initiatives including design and hand coding multiple responsive websites.
Cricket Mobile Store
AppCarousel had several wireless service provider clientele during my 2 years there. We created an HTML5 store for Cricket Wireless to sell digital products to their phone users. I led ideation and white boarding exercises, wireframe sketching & planning, and the visual design of the experience that was optimized for iPhone. I took the designs several levels deep and then worked with the UX developer on implementation and further interactions.
AppCarousel Tablet Store
AppCarousel was initially a white labeled e-commerce product offering. During my time there we created several experiences for the product targeted towards different markets. For one client we created an in-flight e-commerce store for iPad. This was one of the demo examples we showed them to illustrate custom branding and experiences for the product.
AppCarousel Lean Back Experience
Building on AppCarousel desktop and mobile platforms, we entered into applications for TV and branded the offering as Spin5. Learning and building on relatively new and limited functionality, we created an e-commerce offering (screenshots below), as well as social applications like Facebook and Yelp for TV for a large set-top box provider, Arris.
